A Gantt chart maker that starts from a task table
Type your tasks into a work breakdown structure. The Gantt chart next to it redraws on every change, on working days, with sprint bands and the critical path highlighted.
A sample plan. Orange bars are on the critical path; the dashed line is today.
One table, one chart
Most Gantt tools make you drag bars and hope the dates add up. In GenuinePlan the table is the source of truth: you enter a name, a duration in days, an owner and the tasks that must finish first. Start and finish dates are calculated for you, and the chart follows.
- Works on working days. Weekends are skipped, so a 5-day task is one calendar week.
- Sprint bands. Shade the chart in sprints of any length, so a plan reads as iterations as well as dates.
- Dependency arrows. Every predecessor link is drawn, and links on the critical path stand out.
- Four link types with lag. Finish-to-start, start-to-start, finish-to-finish and start-to-finish. See dependencies and lag.
- Click a task, see its bar. The chart scrolls so the task's timeline is in view.
- Milestones and summary rows. Group tasks into a work breakdown structure and roll their dates up.
Share it without a screenshot
Send a read-only link to a plan, or invite people to edit it. They see the same chart you see. More in collaboration.

Frequently asked questions
Can I try the Gantt chart for free?
Yes. The Free plan includes up to 3 plans of 50 lines each, with the table, the Gantt chart and dependencies.
Does the chart skip weekends?
Yes. Durations are counted in working days, so weekends do not add to a task's length.
Do I have to drag bars to set dates?
No. You set durations and predecessors in the table and the dates are calculated. This keeps the plan consistent when something changes.
