About GenuinePlan
A project planner for people who want the schedule maths done properly without learning a project suite.
What it is
GenuinePlan turns a task table into a plan. You write down the work as a work breakdown structure, give each task a duration and an owner, say what depends on what, and the Gantt chart, the dates and the critical path are calculated for you, on working days.
What we care about
- Simple first. The table is the plan. If a feature needs a manual to use, it is not ready.
- Honest dates. Dates come from durations and links, not from dragging bars, so the plan cannot quietly disagree with itself.
- Your data stays portable. Import from Microsoft Project XML, Excel or CSV, and export to XML or Excel at any time.
- Flat pricing. No per-user fees. People you share a plan with do not need a paid account. See pricing.
- Plain privacy. We keep what the product needs to work and explain it in the privacy policy.
Who it is for

What it is not
GenuinePlan is not a resource-levelling, cost-tracking or portfolio suite. If you need those, a larger tool is the right choice, and we would rather say so.
