Terms of service

The service

GenuinePlan is a web-based project planning tool. We may improve, change or remove features over time, and we will try to give notice of changes that matter to paying customers.

Your account

• You sign in with a Google or Microsoft account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping that sign-in secure.
• You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live, and at least 16.
• If you use GenuinePlan for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

Your content

You own your plans and everything you put in them. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run the service for you, including showing it to people you share it with and to anyone who has a public link you created. You are responsible for what you put in plans and for who you share it with. Please do not store content you do not have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Do not use GenuinePlan to break the law, to harm or harass others, to send spam, to probe or attack the service, to bypass plan limits or sign-in, to resell the service without permission, or to upload malware. We may suspend accounts that do.

Plans, payments and cancellation

• The Free plan has limits on the number and size of plans and on sharing. Pro and Team are paid subscriptions with the prices and limits shown on the pricing page at the time you buy.
• Payments are handled by our payment provider, Creem, who acts as seller of record and may add sales tax or VAT.
• Subscriptions renew each month or year until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
• If we change prices, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will tell you in advance.
• If you think you were charged in error, write to [email protected] and we will look into it.
• If a subscription ends, your account returns to the Free plan. Your plans are not deleted, but you may not be able to add to them beyond Free limits until you upgrade or trim them.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. Export your plans regularly if they are important to you.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Schedules and dates are calculated from what you enter; you are responsible for checking them before relying on them. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the relationship

You can stop using GenuinePlan and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service; where we can, we will give you a chance to export your plans first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, tell signed-in users. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept it.
